Step into the Classroom, Experience Learning;
Enter the Art Classroom, Dive into the World of Beauty.
Learning is a beautiful journey of continuous growth, from cognition to recognition. Education holds the key to unlocking this development. Through practice, we learn to identify key points, gain sharp insights, and flexibly shift perspectives. Analyzing from various angles, we explore contextualized knowledge. These reactions—perception, knowledge, and understanding—shape our daily lives. Most importantly, learning transforms our subjective selves. In the exploration of teaching visual culture, the academic and professional fields of education, art, and fine arts provide enlightening thinking and nourishment. Consider the recent ‘Ministry of Education Aesthetic and Design Curriculum Innovation Project,’ which revolves around the development of aesthetic education. It serves as the inspiration for this curatorial project. Given the evolving nature of art education's content in changing times and the transformations within educational institutions / organizations driven by extensive culture and interaction, visual arts education has become an undeniable force in life's aesthetic experiences. Students' self-shaping through "aesthetic experiences" and the pivotal role that art classrooms play in fostering cooperation and conducive learning space / environments have become crucial. The immediacy, memorability, and sensibility that art classrooms can discern have further strengthened as strong and powerful symbolic representations within the art education system.
Drawing on the previously mentioned perspectives, Exhibition Room Ⅰ delves into the theme of "space," exploring it through the lens of "art / history." This hall journeys through significant discoveries and the development of key concepts such as perspective, the golden ratio, and the color wheel. It encapsulates the notion that an "aesthetic experience" is a cumulative process where life is drawn towards a structured form of beauty, thus offering an organic route to understanding aesthetics. In contrast, Exhibition Room Ⅱ is dedicated to the essence of lines and colors. By employing illustrative lines and a minimalist approach to color, it crafts three distinct and inviting aesthetic spaces: the Aesthetic Reception Room, the Aesthetic Living Room, and the Aesthetic Studio. This design choice accentuates the individuality of each exhibit, providing visitors with a delightful visual journey. Within this pared-down environment, guests can explore the endless artistic possibilities, an experience intended to inspire educators / learners alike.
